The SSWA aims to represent our Social Work student community across NC State campus and beyond.

Through workshops and engagement activities, the BSSWA strives to complement the academic requirements of the undergraduate social work program at NC State.

The GSSWA enhances and promotes the academic, professional and social development of graduate students in social work.

The Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Phi Alpha National Honor Society was established in 1995 to recognize social work students who excel academically.

Men in Social Work provides a network and resource for men in our school and our male alumni. We create a rapport among students and alumni to support males interested in pursuing social work careers.

The North Carolina Child Welfare Collaborative strengthens public child welfare services in the state by increasing the numbers and diversity of well-trained BSW’s and MSW’s working in local Departments of Social Services. Students complete a Child Welfare course and seminar as well as complete their internship in a Child Welfare agency.

Wolfpack Beds is a student organization that began as a service project in 2023. Their main project is to use recycled plastic grocery bags to create transportable sleeping mats for the unhoused community in Raleigh who are unable to access shelter.
