Social Work Research and Engagement

School of Social Work faculty are actively researching many topics, including those listed in the following section. NC State’s citation index lists publications and presentations by individual faculty members and by School of Social Work faculty as a whole.

The School of Social Work actively engages with community organizations and professional societies. For example, we partner with over 150 public, nonprofit, and private agencies to provide opportunities for students to engage in professional service, professional associations, and communities. We also participate in the Social Work Coalition on NC Workforce Development and in the development of North Carolina’s Public Service Leadership Program.

The news articles at the bottom of this page describe some of our recent research and engagement activities.
