She founded Crafts for a Cause, bringing together students who share a passion for crafting and philanthropy. Karen Bullock Named Head, Department of Social Work

The Department of Social Work welcomes Karen Bullock as head, effective July 1, 2013. Bullock joined NC State in January 2011 after nine years as a tenured faculty member at the School of Social Work at the University of Connecticut. She has been a leading force in advancing social work practice, education and training in gerontology, mental health and care at end of life.
