Professor Crystal Campbell, BSW Practicum Education Coordinator and CWEC Coordinator at the NC State School of Social Work, has been selected as a member of the prestigious BRIDGES 2024 Academic Leadership Program cohort. This program is hosted by UNC Digital and Lifelong Learning.

The BRIDGES program is designed to help Cohort members identify, understand, and build their leadership and administrative roles in the academy. The overarching theme is, “Leading In A Time Of Transformation”, and cohort members will explore transformational leadership, exercising and expanding their leadership capacities to the highest potential, in addition to equity and inclusive excellence in decision-making.

“I am especially elated about Professor Campbell’s selection for the next Cohort of the BRIDGES Academic Leadership Program” said Dr. Yarneccia D. Dyson, Executive Director & Head of the School of Social Work. “Since joining our School, she has demonstrated innovative leadership and forward thinking strategies that will help position our students to contribute to the social work workforce. I am excited about the ways in which she will continue to strengthen our partnerships with the Child Welfare Education Collaborative and increase the number of students who are interested in pursuing this practice area—I know that her leadership training and experiences in BRIDGES will help advance these goals!”

Congratulations, Professor Campbell!
