Dr. Yarneccia D. Dyson, Executive Director and Head of the School of Social Work, was recently invited to become a member of the Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Futures of Social Work Education Taskforce.
According to Dr. Halaevalu F.O. Vakalahi, the CEO of CSWE, “[this] taskforce was formed to leverage the talents and expertise of transformational leaders in social work education.” This goal upholds the mission alignment of CSWE in terms of advancing excellence and innovation in education and research.
Moving forward, Dr. Dyson is eager to work with the taskforce to help prepare professionals that are ready to contribute to the profession, communities, and our society as a whole.
