Crystal Campbell Appointed BSW Field Education Coordinator
Our School is excited to announce the appointment of Crystal Campbell, LCSW as the BSW Field Education Coordinator. She will also serve as a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the Child Welfare Education Collaborative.
Professor Campbell brings extensive knowledge from a therapy career in private practice, guiding individuals and families toward emotional well-being.
As an alumna of NCCU and the NC State Master of Social Work Program, Professor Campbell is passionate about her new role at the SSW. She stated her main goal is to, “…aid in the process of cultivating critical thinkers, empathetic practitioners, and changemakers for the field of social work.”
“I am elated about Crystal joining the Field Education Team in our School of Social Work! She is an experienced clinician, social worker, and child welfare expert who is committed to helping our School prepare future equity minded social work practitioners,” said Dr. Dyson, Head of the School of Social Work. “Professor Campbell’s dedication to mentoring, innovative clinical approaches, and all around expertise will help our School not only build and strengthen partnerships with new and existing field education sites, but also advance our priorities through intentional engagement and collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and the community”.
