Dr. Yarneccia D. Dyson Selected for 2023 BRIDGES Program

Dr. Yarneccia D. Dyson, Professor and Head of the School of Social Work at North Carolina State University, has been selected as a member of the prestigious BRIDGES 2023 Academic Leadership Program Cohort, hosted by the UNC Digital and Lifelong Learning. This program is designed to help Cohort members identify, understand, and build their leadership and administrative roles in the academy. This year’s theme is, “Leading In A Time Of Transformation”, and Cohort members will explore transformational leadership, exercising and expanding their leadership capacities to the highest potential, in addition to equity and inclusive excellence in decision-making.

Additionally, Dr. Dyson has received generous support from the NC State Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity to attend this prestigious leadership program. Special thanks to Dr. Stephanie Helms Pickett and Dr. Sheri Schwab of OIED.
