Department of Social Work Head Appointed to National Advisory Board

The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) appoints Dr. Karen Bullock to the Advisory Board of the National Center for Gerontological Social Work Education. Funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation, the Center promotes gerontological competencies in undergraduate and graduate social work programs nationwide.  Their aim is to prepare a workforce of graduates that will enhance the health and well-being of older adults and their families. Dr. Bullock was selected for her gerontological and innovative curricular expertise, as well as for her leadership in and service to national social work professional organizations.
