Department of Social Work Head Appointed to Peer Review Committee at ACS

Professor Karen Bullock, PhD, LCSW, Social Work Department Head, has been selected by the American Cancer Society (ACS) to serve as a member of the Peer Review Committee on Oncology Social Work Training. The Committee is responsible for the review of and recommendations on appropriate action related to applications for grants received by ACS during one granting period each year. Dr. Bullock’s term of service, as a Peer Review Committee member, is January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2018.

Previously, she served a one-year (2011-2012) term on the Committee. Dr. Bullock, along with Hannah Allison (Graduate Assistant, Department of Social Work), is a contributing author to the forthcoming Handbook on Social Work Oncology, Oxford University Press.
