The Traditional MSW program is a two-year, full-time program requiring the completion of 60 credit hours. This program begins in the fall. We welcome you to explore our curriculum and contact us to learn more. 


Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Coursework in Social Sciences and Humanities.
  • Prerequisites: Biology and Statistics course with a passing grade.
  • Must be equivalent to Statistics 311 and one of Bio 105/106, 181, or 183 at NC State
  • Three references: two professional and one academic.
  • Variety of life and work experience.
