Our Alumni
Keep in Touch!
We are so proud to count you among our BSW and MSW alumni. You span the field, from working with children in foster care to caring for clients in dialysis units to opening your own practices. You are integral to the social work community.
You also make time to give back. You mentor current students, serve as field supervisors, provide financial support for the school as well as for the next generation of social work cohorts. You take advantage of opportunities for continuing education and contact hours. And you help us identify potential students and participate in recruiting functions. Thank you!
We invite you to send us updates. Use the links here, or email us at socialwork_office@ncsu.edu so we can add you to our listserv and keep you informed about news from your alma mater.
Every professor here taught me to look at the bigger picture and reflect on how I can serve people on a global and local level.

Career Resources for Alumni
Our graduates get to work! 80% of our grads earn a job offer from one of their field internships or receive a job offer within six months after graduating. Even so, we provide you with career support long after graduation day.
The NC State Alumni Association offers alumni several career resources. Members of the Alumni Association may schedule up to two career counseling sessions to review your resume and discuss any aspect of your job search. The Alumni Association also offers resume writing assistance, access to the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)* that can help if you’re struggling over where to go next, and access to ePack, NC State’s online job posting database.
