o Search Assist- it is a literature search service designed to support university research and enhance the research process with convenient, personalized, expert database searching by subject specialist librarians. http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/searchassist/

o Study Abroad- This program is more difficult to get into as a graduate student as it requires more research on the students part to find a compatible program. http://studyabroad.ncsu.edu/
o Talley Student Centers- this residence offers many fun activities to keep students’ interest and provide them with programs to promote growth and development. A list of these provided programs can be found at http://www.ncsu.edu/student_center/student_services.html
o University Career Center- offers information about majors and associated careers, assistance with resumes and interview processes, helps students with internships & job location, and orchestrates the career fairs. http://www.ncsu.edu/career/index.php

Graduate Services

o Initial Summer Research Experience Bridging Program (ISR)- allows undergraduates to
gain much needed research experience before entering graduate school.
o First Year Master's Bridging (FYM)- gives non-NC State graduate students an opportunity
to do research in their fields during the summer when they would not have the chance
to do so otherwise.
o Master's to Doctorate Bridging (MPhD)- offers incoming doctoral students with master's
degrees an opportunity to do research at NC State under the supervision of faculty
mentors during the summer before beginning their PhD programs.
o Diversity Graduate Assistance Grant- promotes diversity at the graduate level at NCSU in order
to bring varied human characteristics, backgrounds, interests and points of view to enrich the
