Interested in a way to stay connected with former classmates from the Department of Social Work at North Carolina State University? The Social Work Alumni Network is the answer! The Alumni Network is a great place for professional networking with both former and current BSW students, learning more about different fields of social work practice, and having a good time with other social workers.

Position Descriptions
Co-Chair (2):
There are two Co-chair positions, both of which are currently filled. The Co-chairs of the committee will be responsible for calling meetings, presiding at meetings, maintaining timely correspondence with members, acting as a liaison between the Alumni Network and the Department of Social Work, and communicating necessary information to other officers.
Event Coordinators (2):
There are currently two Event Coordinator positions available. The Event Coordinators will be responsible for contacting businesses/restaurants, making reservations, arranging for necessary items (i.e. decorations, food, etc.), and communicating with other officers.
Secretary/Historian (1):
There is currently one Secretary/Historian position available. The Secretary/Historian will be responsible for taking minutes at each committee meeting, emailing/distributing a copy of the minutes to each committee member, and recording the Alumni Network’s history through oral, written, and photographic means.
